staff的含義是“全體人員（全體職員/工作人員等）”，而非一名職員/員工 。
1） staff復(fù)數(shù)的兩種形式：staff, staffs，staffs大多指兩批及以上的職員，使用不多見（如一個報社有一個staff，兩個報社有兩個staffs）；
2） staff作主語時，謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)均可（美式英語通常不用復(fù)數(shù)動詞）；
3） （…的）工作人員中的一員/一名員工/員工之一，不可說a staff；可以說：
an employee (of/in…)，
a staff member(of…)；one of the staff members (of…)，
a member of staff (of…), one of the members of the staff (of…)，
on the staff (of…) 。
