01、although和though同義，在一般情況下，可以互換使用 。只是though較普遍，常用于非正式的口語或書面語中，而although則較為正式 。另外although語氣比though重，常用以強(qiáng)調(diào)讓步概念 。

although和though有什么區(qū)別？


兩種具體區(qū)別：
1、兩詞同義并可換用，但although語氣較重，通常放在句首并用于正式場(chǎng)合 。
如：I'd quite like to go out, (al)though it is a bit late. 我很想外出，雖然為時(shí)稍晚 。
Although it was snowing, it was not very cold. 雖然下著雪，但并不很冷 。
2、用though 時(shí)，可將強(qiáng)調(diào)的詞前置，但although 不能 。as也有此種倒裝結(jié)構(gòu) 。
如：Poor though / as he is , he is happy.雖然他窮，但過得很愉快 。
Child though / as she was, the actress was drawing a crowd. 盡管還是個(gè)孩子，這個(gè)女演員卻引起了人們的注目 。（child前無冠詞a）
3、 although 引導(dǎo)從句常指事實(shí)，而though 引導(dǎo)的句子可表假設(shè) 。
如：Let's start as arranged though it rains tomorrow. 即使明天下雨，咱們也按預(yù)定的計(jì)劃出發(fā)吧 。（假設(shè)）
He was not unhappy although he had to live alone. 雖然得一個(gè)人生活，他毫無不快之感 。（事實(shí)）
4、although 只用作連詞，而though 除作連詞外，還可用作副詞，常置句末，句子較長(zhǎng)時(shí)，也置于句中 。
如：It's hard work, I enjoy it though. 這是苦差事，可我干得頗有樂趣 。
There's no excuse, though , for hurting her feelings. 傷到她的感情一事，還是不可原諒 。
5、though 可用于even though, as though 等結(jié)構(gòu)，although則不能 。
如：Even though I fail, I'll keep on trying. 我縱然失敗，仍會(huì)繼續(xù)嘗試下去 。

6、although 和 though 用作連詞時(shí)不能和but連用，但可跟yet, still 等連用 。

7、though 常用于省略句 。
如：Though (he is) alone, he is happy.
