微軟宣布已經(jīng)完成了Small Business Server 2008（SBS 2008）軟件的各項(xiàng)配置，計(jì)劃在今年11月12日開(kāi)始出貨 。
基于Windows Server 2008的Small Business Server 2008軟件還包括Exchange Server 2007、SharePoint Services 3.0、Windows Server Update Services 3.0、Forefront Security for Exchange Server、Windows Live OneCare for Server以及與Office Live Small Business的集成 。
代號(hào)為Cougar的SBS 2008軟件適用于計(jì)算機(jī)臺(tái)數(shù)在50臺(tái)左右的企業(yè)，分為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)版和Premium版 。
微軟刪除掉了套件中的Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA)，取而代之的是Forefront Security for Exchange Server Small Business Edition和Windows Live OneCare for Server一年免費(fèi)試用 。
【微軟將于11月推出Small Business Server 2008】新增的Office Live Small Business提供了用來(lái)創(chuàng)建基礎(chǔ)Web網(wǎng)站的工具，通過(guò)SharePoint在線共享文檔，同時(shí)還引入了微軟在線廣告平臺(tái) 。
今年五月，微軟宣布了帶有Windows Essential Business Server (EBS)的SBS 2008定價(jià)信息，這兩個(gè)捆綁套件造成了Windows Essential Server Solutions產(chǎn)品系列 。
SBS 2008 Standard定價(jià)為1089美元，其中包括五個(gè)Client Access Licenses (CAL)，CAL的定價(jià)為每個(gè)77美元 。Premium版定價(jià)為1899美元，附加CAL為189美元 。
微軟還表示將推出購(gòu)買(mǎi)單個(gè)CAL的選配件計(jì)劃 。在此之前，用戶必須一次購(gòu)買(mǎi)5個(gè)一組的套裝 。另外，CAL還可以用于在Essential之外運(yùn)行的Windows Server、SQL Server以及Exchange Server的副本 。(ZDNet編譯)
