Part 1: Linux Professional Institute Certification - (LPIC Level 1)
LPI Certification 是繼 RHCE 之后在市場(chǎng)上較為人熟悉的 Linux 專業(yè)證書，LPI 全名是 Linux Professional Institute，是一個(gè)來(lái)自加拿大的非牟利 Linux 專業(yè)團(tuán)體所頒發(fā)之證書 。

原來(lái) LPI 的后臺(tái)亦不弱，有 IBM，HP 和 SGI 等大哥大在幕后支持，而支持的Linux平臺(tái)有SuSE, Caldera 和TurboLinux 等，范圍之廣泛，實(shí)在不可輕視 。

LPI 的考試共分三級(jí)，由 Level 1 至 Level 3，但現(xiàn)階段只有 Level 1 之證書提供，原因是較高層次的 Level 2 和 3 仍在設(shè)計(jì)及發(fā)展階段，考取Level 1證書需要通過(guò) 2 個(gè)考試，分別是 Exam 101 General Linux I 和 Exam 102 General Linux II 。

LPI 考試內(nèi)容非常廣泛，由最基本的 Linux 指令，以至 Web Server，Mail Sever，DNS Server的安裝和設(shè)定，備份與回復(fù)功能當(dāng)然不可缺少，網(wǎng)絡(luò)設(shè)定及 Shell Script 的編寫等也是必考 。由于考試范圍及支持的 Linux平臺(tái)頗多，建議大家需要有清淅的概念和足夠的實(shí)戰(zhàn)經(jīng)過(guò)才可參加考試，否則都會(huì)有一定的難度 。幸好 LPI 考試要求的合格分?jǐn)?shù)不算太高，Exam 101 是 490 分，而 Exam 102 是 460 分，大家可到任何一間 Prometric 或 VUE的認(rèn)可考試中心應(yīng)考，考試費(fèi)為港幣 $780 。以下是一些 LPI 的仿真試是題，看看自己有沒有足夠知識(shí)來(lái)回答它吧！

Part 2: SAIR Linux & GNU Certification
其實(shí) Linux 的專業(yè)證書，除了 RHCE 同 LPI 之外，還有一張費(fèi)用不高、所包含的產(chǎn)品套件亦不少的專業(yè)證書，它就是由 SAIR Linux, Inc. 所制定的Sair Linux and GNUCertification，而SAIR的意思是指 Software Architecture Implementation and Realization (軟件架構(gòu)的施行與認(rèn)知)。

目前身兼密西西比大學(xué)資料科學(xué)系及 SAIR Linux 公司的總裁 Tobin Maginnis一向都是以開放原始碼及免費(fèi)軟件，教導(dǎo)他的學(xué)生關(guān)于操作系統(tǒng)及計(jì)算機(jī)網(wǎng)絡(luò)方面的知識(shí)，而他的 SAIR Linux公司所設(shè)計(jì)發(fā)展的 Sair Linux and GNU Certification，其主要目的是為了提供大眾無(wú)論在增進(jìn) Linux的技能上，或者是知識(shí)上，都有一個(gè)明確的方向 。因此，不論是為了考取多一張證書，又或者是為了學(xué)習(xí)更多有關(guān) Linux 的知識(shí)，SAIR Linux證書亦都會(huì)是不錯(cuò)的選擇 。

Sair Linux & GNU Certification 共分三個(gè)等級(jí)，包括第一級(jí)的 Linux Certified Administrator (LCA)、第二級(jí)的Linux Certified Engineer (LCE)及第三級(jí)的Master Linux Certified Engineer (MLCE)，而每一個(gè)級(jí)別都有四個(gè)不同的測(cè)驗(yàn)，如 LCA 的四科考試包括 101 - Installation & Configuration，102 - System Administration，103 - Networking 和104 - Security and Privacy，每一科考試費(fèi)為$772，考試長(zhǎng)度為六十分鐘，在這六十分鐘內(nèi)需要完成50題多項(xiàng)選擇題及至少要答對(duì)37題或以上才可獲頒發(fā)證書 。留意的是現(xiàn)階段只有LCA 和 LCE 之證書提供，較高層次的 MLCE 仍在設(shè)計(jì)及發(fā)展階段 。報(bào)考試方面，大家就只須要在任何一間VUE認(rèn)可考試中心報(bào)考便可 。
